Hi! I work full time, and it's hot and yucky.... By the time I get home I'm not in the mood to cook. EVERY DAY I just grill either hamburgers chicken burgers, chicken, hotdogs, or everything.. Just curious am I the only one that does this?

I grill alot. One day it can be salmon served with salad, the next day burgers with grilled veggies and grilled chicken cutlets another day. I do hot dogs for the kids, but not more than once a week.

Why? Grilling is one of the healthiest ways to cook. No added oil, and it drains the fat.

If I had a BBQ I would probably grill all the time! I find the grill pan a pain to clean so I stick to grilling chicken for shabbos.

I use the rice cooker practically all week long though

I assume that you know that there are places that don't get snow AND some women on this site actually live in those places!!!

Oil is not unhealthy. Fat is not unhealthy. Time for a paradigm shift, people. What you have been told for 40 years (and doctors still believe) is WRONG. The obesity epidemic started when Americans were told to give up their bacon 'n eggs for breakfast and eat low-fat muffins, instead.

Grilling is exceedingly unhealthy because it creates acrylamides, which are carcinogenic.

Here's a wild idea. Too much fat is also bad for you, it clogs your arteries. The obesity epidemic began when people started getting more and more sedentary among other things.

I BBQ once or twice a week. I cook batches of chicken for later use in salads or cold entres. Tonight I'll cook a spatchcocked chicken marinated in harissa. Tomorrow I'll have cold chicken shredded on top of tabouleh on a base of butter lettuce.

Grilling meats/proteins every day isn't healthy when the grill gets so hot that it chars the meat. Those nice black grill marks? carcinogenic.

I like grilled meat, but I certainly do not eat it (or meat in general) every single day.
