My husband wants classic macaroni salad like from the deli counter. What sort of diced vegetables are included?

Celery, onions, red and green bell pepper, diced fine. Kind of like the veggies for Israeli salad, but without the tomatoes.

Season with salt, pepper, a bit of mustard, and a lot of mayo.
