Saw the trailer on youtube....would be very triggering for me to watch that.
But...I didn't throw up tonight. Yay me?

No, I never have had an eating disorder BH. And chas v’shalom you should deprive your children- I wasn’t referring to them. I just meant that fruits like watermelon really fill you up and the high h2o content is good for you, especially after a workout. I found it a little confusing why you would go for fried and greasy foods…mystery solved.

Yay you! Eating disorders are rarely "cured" like pneumonia, flares of desire are bound to happen so when they do every day you beat them is a huge success! Hooray Hooray Hooray

I do not believe you should be watching this movie. As a eating disorder specialist, this has been very triggering for many of my ED clients. As a side point, it gives a very biased outlook on ED's. A person does not need to be deathly thin to suffer...it is a illness in the brain no matter the size.

Thanks for the posts. Just saw them.
I will take a look at the YouTube videos. Thanks Pamela for your encouragement.
I'm trying to be healthy. I'm also overweight now (for real). I don't need to be a size 2 on 500 calories again, but I'm trying to lose weight in a healthy way and just BE. But my body is so messed up, my hunger/satiety signals are so messed up. I threw up a few more times since my op, but not many. I'm working on preparing healthy meals and eating them, being active and healthy. And hopefully one day it will become the new norm for me and I won't even think about it.
