I want a double stroller and most people seem to love city mini.

Can my baby nap in it? Starting from what age?

Or, is it better to get a stroller with a bassinet (although I know a lot of children do not like bassinets)?

Thoughts?

My newborn can nap in my city mini double. I use a body cushion that I bought for about $20 on Amazon a few years ago for cushioning/support.

You can get a bassinet attachment for the city mini, we used it often. Also it has a full recline so it's fine for a newborn but the bassinet attachment would be safest and most comfortable for the baby

I like the citi mini because it leans so far back and you can adjust to wtvr position u want. Great for naps.

I don't like the city mini because it has no foot rest, a newborn can probably nap in it with a swaddler support, but once they are a few months old their feet will dangle over. I prefer valco doubles with footrests, like the valco neo twin stroller.
