How old was your sienna and or how many miles were on it when it started giving you problems or and when you gave it up? Can you compare that with any other minivans?

We bought our 2005 Toyota sienna in Sept 2009 with 77000 miles. We haven't put on very many miles. We're up to 11600 miles and bli eyin hara it's as good as new. Drives smooth and no major issues over the years, just normal wear and tear. We're very very happy with it:)

My parents bought a 2005 seinna in 2010 after their Ford Windstar transmission had to be replaced for the 2nd or 3rd time ...they have only done the basic maintenance on the seinna and is still going strong 7 years after purchasing (12 yr old car)

We bought an 06 in the fall of 07. We've had to spend money on things that are supposed to go with time (belts, etc) but very little on things that don't have an expired life term. Our electric sliding door did stop working properly 5-6 years ago, but the van itself still drives very well.

We bought a 2010 Sienna in 2011 with 52k miles on it.
Currently going strong at 152k miles!
(never had to replace anything except normal wear and tear like brakes and tires)
