Any ideas? Opened it on shabbos and only used a bit, it's a 3 lb bag. Dh and I won't eat that much...having company shabbos so will use it up then..

Secure it very tightly, as vacuum-packed as you can.

I personally try to layer the lettuce with paper towels in the bag and would use a handful of paper towels. The enemy is moisture which makes it rot faster. Hatzlocho!
