How do you encourage friendships for school age children?

Most school-aged kids naturally find friends in school.
Or are your kids homeschooled and you are looking for ways to arrange social activities with other children their age?
Not sure what you are asking...
You can encourage your child to invite a friend to his home. "Hey Shloimy, why don't you invite a friend to come over Tuesday afternoon? I'll order pizza for the two of you."
