Rav Ovadiah Yosef
Ahron hakohein

Truth be told, any gadol probably fits in this category. "Derech Eretz kodma Latorah."

My favorite is rav Yakov Kaminetsky. He was known for his respect for others and good midos. I think he personified " deracheha darchei noam". When I hear about events that disturb me at the extreme right of chareidi, I tell myself this is not the only way, rav Yakov would never be in board. (I'm yeshivish)

Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Rav Pam (Avrohom Yaakov), Ohev Yisroel the Apter Rebbe (Avrohom Yehoshua, which is also the name of his descendant the Kapishnitzer Rebbe who also excelled in this area), Rav Aryeh Levin

I also immediately thought of R' Yaakov Kaminetsky. As a young man, he was a Cheder Rebbe who did not believe in hitting boys, which was unfortunately the norm in those days. When the boys got restless, he took them out to throw snowballs and get their energy spent in more healthy ways. He was a pioneer in using better Chinuch methods to control the classroom setting.
