My preteen daughter is due for her first bra. I want it to be a pleasant experience for her. (Not like my first experience) Im specificaly looking for nice, understanding and non-judgemental salesladies. Which lingerie store do you recommend I go to?

She's great but I can see a teen being overwhelmed there.

MySelf Lingerie really caters to teens. Very friendly staff and extremely patient with teens.

Thank you all so much for your replies. The thing with myself lingerie is that while they have amazing salewomen that are very knowledgable and overal great service, I dont think my daughter will be comfortable going to a place with everything out on dispaly. Like in your face. Maybe more of a place in a robe / nightgown store, that brings you some things to try in the fitting room. Shes still young, and doesnt like this whole idea about growing up.
Any suggestions for something like this? What

Le Bon could work but she won't be fitted properly. If she doesn't need a bra for support yet, it could work.
Otherwise, have her fitted at a department store.

I suggest you go to MySelf Lingerie and ask their salesgirl to help you in selecting a few styles they think would work for your daughter and take it home to try in a relaxed environment. I did that with my daughter when she was just starting to develop and refused to come with me to the store. They told me to measure her chest and according to that they recommended a few pieces they thought might work. It worked really well for us and my daughter settled on a style that supported her nicely. Unless she's really developed, the training bras should be an easy thing to fit.
Also, I think department stores have everything displayed just as well, maybe even worse Wink

A teen would probably be more comfortable at a department store than these small frum shops.
