I am going to make a straight gown, either print or black, for a wedding. What material do I make the gown out of that is comfortable and slimming and that will travel well? I am flying with it.
TIA

light and flowy will probably work better than heavy fabrics. think lace or chiffon. a nice shiny jersey knit with a chiffon or lace overlay and light beading could look really nice.
if you are flying with it, ask the flight attendants about hanging space on the plane. you may not have to fold it.
