I was told you can't just use any body of water that you find. I heard there's one in Buyrite in Woodridge, but closer would be great because I plan to take car service to get there. Thanks!

There is no mikvah in the Buy Rite in Woodridge. I am there weekly and have not seen it. Don't schlep here for nothing!

Call a Rav. Once you know tha parameters of what constitutes a kosher jeilim Mikva, you could find your own.

I have toveled keilim in a lake when there was nothing close by, ... I remember asking my father and checking on aish or chabad websites,
but another options, it should halachaickly, okay, to take it to a person mikvah. maybe you can call the person mikvah and take it during off hours"?

There's a lake across the road from Wal-Mart, there's a little area right near the road where you can drive or walk right up to the water
