I was on Instagram the other day and came across a video that my friend posted. the video was taken at a concert that was FOR WOMEN ONLY. The video captured 30 seconds of a woman singing a beautiful song. But then I realized that anyone can see this video that my friend posted/ uploaded including men. I told my friend that she should take the video down because of the kol isha issue, but she refuses to do so.I told her that the woman that she recorded may not want her video plastered for everyone (men) to see. My friend said that everyone was recording on their phones at the concert and probably others posted it as well. I told her that I only know her and she doesn't know what others did with the video.

What should I do?????

I came across a few of those clips yesterday. I was wondering if she knew she's being viewed publicly.

Folks; the issur of kol isha:
1. according to many poskim is ONLY live.
Therefore listening to women sing on the radio or on a cd is not even kol isha.

2. the issur is on the MAN. Women don't have to worry about it at all.
If someone holds that recorded songs are kol isha he should turn it off.

I can't help it, and I know everyone will jump down my throat for saying this, but we have enough issurim and chumros; we just don't need to add any more.

I remember singing on trips on a bus full of girls, and some kill joy would always shush everyone... by the way a group is not even kol isha.
enough already!

even forgetting number 1, -- this is the MEN's responsibility, let's not make it ours!

personally, I'd be more bothered by the copyright issues...

as to what you should do... NOTHING! MYOB! you said your piece and that's it, your friend isn't going to take it down. let it go!
