Due to a medical condition, I have to use a cash dr.
Is it ok to ask for a discount? Think non religious Jewish dr, and frum patient. Is it a Hillul hashem?
It's not the first time I'm using this dr, I've paid full price before... And I'm really ashamed of asking. I know that he has given discounts to ppl.

I think its fairly common to offer discounts when paying in cash so as long as you ask in a non pushy respectful manner I dont see what the issue is.

It's perfectly appropriate to ask if they offer sliding scales or discounts .
