Are there any registered diagnostic medical sonographers over here??
I'm interested in this field but I don't know anyone who actually works in that field that could answer my question. So how do you become registered? from what I gathered, some programs are around 2 years, and after that you do an internship? if so for how long? After becoming registered, is it difficult to find jobs? how are the hours? (I'm assuming mainly in hospitals).. do they ask you to work in the weekends? do you enjoy your work?
