Hello all,
I am looking into more openminded seminarys for my dd but only LOCAL ones, I dont want to send to assaf or bais yaakov as they are very yeshivish. Any ideas? I heard about one in far rockaway, more info?

Welcome to imamother. The word "local" means something different to everyone on this very international website. Try editing your subject line with location and what "local" means to you. You said far rockaway. Is brooklyn local? Queens? Lakewood? Cities names are very important here.

Sigh. Tristate, as in Indiana/Chicago/Wisconsen? Obviously not - you said far rockaway. but seriously, edit your subject to say what corner of the world you are interested in.

Most seminaries are BY/yeshivish-oriented. The one you're referring to in Far Rockaway is run by Rebbetzin Aviva Feiner; I believe it's only a half-day program. You can get more info about it here: http://www.mbrseminary.org/
