Looking for ideas for what to make a neighbor for a new baby meal. Kid friendly would be great!
Thanks!

meatballs, spaghetti, salad
fish sticks for kids and regular fish for adults
breaded chicken bottoms (the drumsticks my kids call chicken lollypops and hold by the bone.)
everyone likes mashed potatoes.
and fresh fruit

The meals my friends raved about were 1)sweet and sour meatballs with brown rice and roasted veggies, with plain noodles for the kids of they didn't like rice. If it was cool weather I sent a butternut squash/sweet potato soup. And 2) salmon with mashed potatoes and sesame greenbesns. in case kids didn't like, I added in fish sticks and cut up veggies with dip.

Make something you are comfortable making and like yourself. I try to do separate protein carb and veggie and throw in soup or salad and fruit if I have time so there's lots of variety

Honestly I would skip rice. My smaller kids make a huge mess trying to eat it and it gets everywhere and then I have to clean it up.

Chicken, potatoes, salad
Meatballs, spaghetti, salad
Schnitzel, rice, salad
It’s nice to add a soup or cut fruit but I can’t always do that.
I like sending a carb, protein, and vegetable. I try to send a plentiful amount of food I’d rather they have a few extra pieces of chicken than not enough.
