The last time I worried about whether I was wearing the “right” footwear — knee socks vs. tights was the issue at the time—I was five years old. Inevitably, if I wore the one, virtually everyone else in my class wore the other. I learned eventually that those who like me will like me no matter what I wear and those who don’t like me won’t like me no matter what I wear. Since then I wear whatever I want. You should try this. It’s very liberating.
