Alaska this past summer was amazing (just me and dh); hiking, plane ride over Denali, ice hiking on a glacier, mah rabu maasecha hashem.
Maine (Acadia national park)
Bryce, Zion, grand canyon national parks, AS
Yosemite, sequoia, death valley (in winter), CA
Yellowstone, grand tetons, WY
Banff, canada
Everglades, FL

For smaller but no less nice trips, just check out your local national parks and historical areas. Appalachian trail runs through most of the East coast. Tons of historical sites in Pennsylvania, Maryland, etc.

On my bucket list is to see the aurora borealis, go to the Galapagos, Patagonia
