How to ice skate backwards.
How to put seats back in our minivan after we took them out and couldn't get them back in.
How to upholster our dining room chairs.
I just bought a drum set for myself and intend on using youtube to learn how to play (at least at the basic level).
We hope to build a deck for our home this coming summer... we've already been watching youtube videos and think we can do it.
When I was a new grad, I would watch youtube videos to refresh my memory and skills before inserting a central line (though I did learn how officially in school).

I created updos for my girls for their cousin's wedding.
I figured out how to change the lightbulb in our new oven. It was hidden from view and not like our regular ovens before this one.

I go to youtube all the time to learn cooking techniques- especially if a recipe is vague about something.
knitting
how to change the batteries on some appliances
how to properly use some appliances
how to sooth a crying baby (hush pat methods) (didn't work)
my husband uses youtube often to fix things around the house and for work. he used it to fix some things on our car.

You must all be very talented, it's incredible what you've been able to do!
I got a phone and I couldn't pry off the back to insert the battery, so I was like, hey! I'll watch a YouTube video. Well, the guy took out a whole bunch of tools and when I tried to do the same, I punctured the battery. Then, I searched for "are punctured batteries dangerous" and a video came up with a terrorist puncturing a phone battery to cause an explosion.
So, yeah. You gotta have some skill to do these things and over the years I've learned that handy I'm not.

Drywall repair is an excellent skill to have as a homeowner. Don't ever think that tools are a useless expense. They are investments that save you money. There are times when I'm getting ready to do a job and I simply use Utube to confirm my direction. And there are entire evenings when I just watch odd stuff on Utube (Crazy Russian Hacker). Then there are other Utubes that are just hot messes. (IRRC one women's failed attempts at cake decorating.)

I never knew about poi spinning, thanks, I'm going to try learning this, I like it! Motions like juggling and I think poi make me feel music. Difficult to explain lol

I figured out how to wire a ceiling light fixture,
I learned computer programming,
I learned what adhd is all about,
I learned how to install my dishwasher,
I learned how to do my make up,
I learned how to do a three tire cake...
Instead of reading on google I watch videos.
YouTube is my freind.
