Any one know anything abt the area of brookwood one in jackson?
How much of a frum presence is there?
R the no jewish neighbors there hostile?
R there shuls there?
Is it comfortable walking there on shabbos?
Is it at all walkable to parts of lakewood?
Any info would be most appreciated.

There is quite a large frum presence. I'd say at least 50-75 families last time I checked, but probably more by now.
Most non-Jewish neighbors are pleasant and friendly (at least at face value).
There are shuls.
I have never been there on Shabbos but I have friends there and they are comfortable walking around.
It is walkable to the Pawnee, 14th Street, and Hope areas.

There are plenty of frum families in the Brookwood area, but some blocks have more frum people than others. There are no shuls - but there are minyanim. I know my BIL davens in the minyan that rents space in the public school.
I haven't heard of any issues with non-Jewish neighbors.
It's not far from certain Lakewood areas, as Lil Israeli already mentioned.
I went to my sister for Shabbos and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. It's very pleasant, pretty, etc...
