Pants always come longer then necessary. I don't sew. The rolled up bottom looks clumsy to me.
Any advice other then spending the time and money to get to a tailor and just do it? Especially when it 2 months it needs to be lowered a bit when they grow!

Weekday pants I just roll up if need be. Shabbos pants I tailor and leave a hem

I do a full round hem on shabbos and weekday pants.
An easier way is to do just the 2 sides from pants. Works great.

Yes. Most of my mendings I give to seamstress. But pants I do on my own. It's no big deal.
I do the hem when pants are inside out.
Personally don't like the look from rolled up pants
