Until Times of Israel repairs the vandalism, here's a site that's copied the article.

Yes, it's awful and horrific. I don't know what to say about this, if true.
I will say I don't like Farber's hypothetical conversation with a celibate 20 y.o. that makes his celibacy at that age sound unnatural. And almost sounds like he's equating - and normalizing - fantasizing, mstbation, and....going to harlots. But I guess we can consider the source.
I think I have to wash my eyeballs after seeing the website.

It's terrible and horrific, but the title makes it seem like this is a widespread norm, which bH it is not.

After the comments here, I'm not going to click it.

Part of owning a smartphone is knowing what not to click.

It's a story about a former Gerrer who says he was caught with a cellphone and given a drug that suppresses testosterone which has the effect of lessening the desire for səx in men.

. The problem is it does more than that. It has a feminizing effect ( think man-breasts) , and worst of all, the effects may not be reversible. Chemical castration, iow.

This is the story of Pini Landau in Israel. It is a real thing. I came over to my chassidishe friend's house the other day and she was completely beside herself. It is a huge big deal over there.

They essentially forced him to take hormone suppressants because he was caught with a phone and he is now unable to function normally, even after the suppressants stopped.

He was, from what my friend told me, basically castrated.

So bear in miind that this is Amnon Levi - headline and ratings seeker, self-appointed crusader against social injustices and muckracker - in particular of the haredi world.
This episode was broadcast on Israeli TV a few days ago.
I don't watch TV and have not seen the show, so this is the first time I'm hearing about this particular issue.
I have only one thing to say about it, if indeed it is accurate.
Sick.

So that would make it an issur d'oraissa.
And those forcing it would have lifnei iver as well.
