Looking to recommendations for an inexpensive android tablet, one that has the google play store. I only need it for simple things - youtube videos, games, etc. Some kind of basic parental controls would be good too (we don't need anything advanced, it's never unsupervised).
Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I'd suggest you go into a Samsung store and give them your price range.
They'll give you all the options and you can work out between those what would cater best to your needs.

I second the kindle fire. It's inexpensive and Amazon customer service can't be beat. If u ever have a problem they will take care of it.
