DD wants them and I don't want to buy new ones. If your children outgrew them, or you just want to sell yours, please PM me or post here with your asking price.

TIA.

Ahh, the babysitters club! I wish you'd asked me 15 years ago before I donated my collection to the library...

They are out of print and impossible to buy even if you wanted to buy them new. We have had good success in used book stores and requesting them through our library system.

Are they appropriate for a fourth grade Bais Yaakov girl? She is a good reader but is the content inappropriate?

The content is tame but there are boyfriends mentioned and dances. It in no way represents a slice of a BY girl's life. It depends on how sheltered you want her to be. I remember one girl has multiple ear piercings (Dawn), another (Claudia) always dresses in wacky outfits.
I can't really claim nostalgia for these books since these were written after my days, but I was always pre-reading my DD's books.

You will find nothing scandalous in these books. Kind of the 1980's version of Nancy Drew...who went to dances and parties with Ned Nickerson. Okay, remembering the name Ned Nickerson is nostalgic...

I like your name! Off topic but I have been reading the Betsy Tacy books to my girls for years... they are each on different ones... I love THOSE books! I got to see the real Betsy Tacy and Tib houses In Mankato two years ago!
