I know this might sound shallow - so I will hide behind amother for this.
Try dolling up your baby in stunning cute clothes, pretty soft blankets etc.... When he looks like a precious doll he will be irresistable!
I still use that trick for my 1 and two year olds - on days that they are really getting to me I give them a bath, curl their hair and dress them in their best clothes. I find that it helps me.
This is not for deeper issiues like ppd - just a way to get through a hard day.

Is your baby especially difficult? I had this with my first who was impossible. The amazing bond started...at about 3 years old. I took him for DIR therapy which has a big emphasis on parent-child relationship. It saved our's.

Not feeling love and attachment to your baby is one of the prime symptoms of ppd. Please get screened or even do a screening test for ppd online to see if it might be you.
