What Leah said. You can just get the regular local Jewish magazines & newspapers, and/or secular newspapers if you think she may be interested in them.
She doesn't need something different because she's in prison. Stuff that interested her before, still interest her now. And if you still feel unsure, then ask her: I'd love to bring you some magazines and newspapers next time I come, is there any specific one that your prefer?
And kudos to you for doing this mitzvah. I am sure your friend will very much appreciate it.

Unfortunately there's many many frum Jews in prison. Frum people are human too, they make mistakes. I'm sure the precentage of frum people versus others are MUCH lower, but there's still hundreds of frum Jews in prison. I believe one magazine once did an article about it. They don't get much visitors and many people don't know, but we should really bring more awareness to the topic. I'm sure most frum people in Prison are working hard, and doing tshuvah. What else can you do if you are locked in a prison cell for months or years?

Depends on her religious level and background.
Mishpacha is nice.
Btw if you friend needs visitors there is alef institute, dror etc.
