We live in Los Angeles and are making a wedding in Monsey, NY in January. I can't find anything appropriate for my 10 month old dd to wear. I can't find ANYTHING warm enough for a NY winter in the stores here in LA (stores here still have swimsuits on the rack). Im thinking, maybe a warm, very pretty, one piece like this could work but I wonder if it's not dressy enough...

My dd will be 10 months old. The other problem is that everything I found online like this only goes up to 9 months. I was looking for a 12 month size, but she is small so I might get her in a 9 month size.

So my question to you east coast, or cold weather living, amothers - what do you dress your baby in for a cold (New York) winter wedding? And where can I find it online since I doubt I will find anything in the LA stores.

I'll add that I expect she will be sleeping for at least 3/4 of the wedding and chances are high that she will fall asleep before the chuppah even starts and not even be seen. Another reason I want her in something comfortable - she will probably just sleep in it. But in case she does get to "walk" down the isle with us, I'd like her to look pretty.

This might work for you. Any specific color theme?

Knits are dressy and comfortable
Zara, h&m, and gap have some really pretty ones. Marks and spencer as well.

My daughter was that age when my brother got married. She wore a pretty dress with tights and shoes for pictures and when we walked down the aisle, then we had a babysitter who whisked her away to a back room for the rest of the wedding. The babysitter immediately changed her into pajamas so she'd be comfortable and we brought along books and toys for her to play with until she was tired enough to fall asleep in her stroller.

There's really no reason for a baby to be at the rest of the wedding. The music is sure to be too loud for her sensitive ears and she won't have any idea what's going on anyway.

You can do something like this https://www.amazon.com/Blueber.....+Navy with tights and a pretty cardigan.
Here's another option https://www.amazon.com/Blueber.....psc=1
Or this https://www.amazon.com/White-B.....psc=1 again with a cardigan
Or this https://www.amazon.com/Nannett.....55011

If you want to stay away from the poofy dresses you could do something like this https://www.amazon.com/Auro-Me.....psc=1
or https://www.amazon.com/ZOEREA-.....psc=1
This doesn't look super warm but might be ok since you'll be indoors https://www.amazon.com/Nautica.....gings

If you have a Burlington near you you can order online and return whatever is no good in store. They sometimes have dressy stuff, especially this time of year.

Or, if you have a specific color in mind you can just do any short sleeve/sleeveless dress with a pretty cardigan or faux fur shrug.

Not dressy enough, if she's going to be in any pictures or walking down the aisle she needs a dress. Does LA have kids gown gemachs? You can put on the gown/dress for an hour or 2 and then change her into a strechy after the chuppah.

We are having a wedding in January, IYH. My baby will be wearing a pink knit bubble from Friedrich (?) Bros. I think I got it on Amazon. It has lovely embroidered smacking on it which makes it very dressy. She will wear it with pink ruffly socks and pink shoes. Not exactly sure of the name because we wore it so many times the label fell off...
She will be a year in February

I have a baby girl around the same age and just had a close family wedding in Monsey too!
I bought her this https://www.macys.com/shop/pro.....%3D35
to wear as long as she was up. We then changed her into this dressy & comfy sleeper https://www.macys.com/shop/pro.....3D30.

She wore them again for the Shabbos sheva brachos. She looked adorable and collected loads of compliments. Mazal Tov to you!

I know this is a very old thread ... but...looking for links for 22 month old girl, not poofy princess dress. Knit romper type with tulle maybe. Up to date for NY/Lakewood wedding. Under $50

You'll have a much better chance getting responses if you start your own thread, people won't respond to such an old one
