DC is taking karate and purchased a uniform from the instructor. DC is warning me that that the kids that had their uniforms washed at home look horrible now, the uniforms look all gray and "clear".
I want to be able to wash it every week. Does anybody have firsthand experience with this and know how to care for it properly?

Wash with whites and air drugs you can add oxi clean to keep the color. I dot wash it every week as it’s only work for an hour each week... and they usually wear something underneath so it’s not directly on the body, trying sweaty

White uniforms tend to look grubby after a while. Fortunately, karate class isn't a fashion show. Here are a few ideas:
Wash whites (not just light colors) separately.
Add bleach or bleach alternative to the wash.
Wash in hot water.
Soak in a strong solution of oxyclean for at least several hours prior to washing to remove discoloration.
I don't line-dry, but some people depend on sunlight to keep whites bright.
I hope this helps!
