For some 8 people. What food can I bring? What's cheaper. Knishes from freezer section? Pasta salad? Someone already chose pasta dish....

Pasta salad would be cheaper. But if someone already is making a pasta dish....
How about garlic knots? Make your own dough.

Corn salad. Open two cans of corn. Drain them. Dice in red onions and different color peppers. Put a heaping tablespoon mayo on top. Then put spices into mayo -onion powder and garlic powder and a little salt. Mix well .mix in fresh dill or if not dried dill.

Do you want hot or cold dishes
Chickpea salad
Can chickpeas
Peppers thin slices
Red onion thin slices
Radish thin slices
Oil
Salt
Parsley (I use dry)
Chopped garlic (optional)

Potato salad
Boiled potatoes, about 4 medium
Boiled eggs, 1-2
Slice potatoes and eggs
Dress with lemon, oil, salt, and a lot of all spice

Yellow rice with peas (really easy)
Make rice as usual, but add 1 TBSP OF Tumeric to the water.
As soon as rice is done, while its still hot, add 1/4-1/2 bag frozen peas

I just had a party where I made a potatoe kugel it’s easy quick and pretty cheap.
And everyone loves it!

Salad , lettuce , tomatoes and kirbies with some croutons and dressing.
