Because Jazz has male organs which did not develop due to the puberty blockers. Jazz does want bottom surgery and one poster here said that bottom surgery is rarely done. In male to female bottom surgery, the male organ is used to create a female organ. Jazz doesn't have enough tissue. Jazz is a teenager who has lived as female for most of his/her life and doesn't have much recollection of being male. It is understandable to want bottom surgery but it may not be possible.

The teenage girl who I know personally is transitioning to male and wants a hysterectomy at age 18. I actually agree with this because the male hormones could cause ovarian cancer. This girl/boy, also cannot parent a child due to emotional instability and extreme self centeredness. The parents did explore that option but one of the smartest things that this child has done is to inform the parents that parenthood is not possible or in the plans at all. I could totally see this individual quickly losing custody of any offspring.

My understanding is that there are loads of surgeries connected with transitioning, including facial changes to make a face more male or female but I read that there was an increase in genitourinary procedures.
