Help! My DD is anaphylactic to eggs. Please help me find tried and true sufganyot recipes. I need to make them at home because I have another DD with anaphylactic nut and sesame allergies. Thanks!

I havent tried, but I found an idea for recipe which was to take raw dinner rolls & roll them in sugar & cinnamon & then fry & then to roll in confectionery sugar.
so, maybe find an egg free roll recipe, or egg free challah recipe & go from there.

Great idea. Thanks. Does this 'frying' mean deep frying or pan fry?

I tried on Thursday last week to make using an egg free babka recipe (I wanted to bake rather than fry). I rolled the dough small and baked in mini-muffin tins, then rolled in an egg-white / confectionner sugar glaze... they were delish but my DD couldn't eat them. I'll try the frying approach today BN. Thanks.

I simply replace the eggs with aquafaba - the liquid from a can of chick pea juice ... 2 oz per egg

I've also made them whole wheat with about a tbs of flax seed for fluffiness

My son is also allerhic to eggs, dairy and nuts. Today I made the doughnuts in a bag (Google for recipe) and replaced the one egg with 1/4 c soya milk, and they were delicious, but only fresh.

This afternoon I made, as you suggested, with my base challah recipe, dredged balls in cinnamon and sugar, baked, then dredged in powdered sugar. My DD was ecstatic! Thanks for your advice.
