I want to go to Jewish children museum this week - is there alternative sides parking to be aware of?

Yes there is. I think you can google the times for specific blocks. I beleive it is early in the am on that block.

yes there is. one side of eastern parkway has from 8 to 930 am and the other side and the next few blocks has from 11 to 1230

You must mean alternate side parking-
Alternate- adj- occurring by turns
Alternative - adj - another option/ choice

I don't know of any reason why there WOULDN'T be alternate side parking tomorrow. But for future reference:
1. Everywhere in NYC has alternate side parking (AFAIK)
2. DOT has a map online where you can search all the parking rules for each block. I do wish there were an easier way to see a map of all the alternate-side times at once, and I'm sure there are third-party websites that do, but the DOT map you can search all the parking rules for each block.
3. If you call 311 the first thing on the recording is whether parking rules are on or off that day.

Not true that alt side is everywhere. My area of Bklyn doesn't have alt side. Yay!
