I'm looking for tips to keep out drafts. Our house is longer than the house next door, and the room that is next to their yard is a few degrees colder than the rest of the house.
Any easy, affordable ways to keep that room warmer?

Heavy drapes to the floor.

Wherever you feel the drafts coming it, stuff those areas up with any type of cheap insulation. Like what you get free with an air conditioner.

My windowsills are refrigerators. I left a drink on one of them and an hour later it was colder than my fridge would have made it.
Drapes help but I hate keeping them closed all day

My apartment is extremely drafty, there's nothing I can do. I dress the kids in layers & wear sweaters. I stand next to the front walls & I can feel the draft!

Walmart sells insulating drapes for cheap. Drapes are a great idea. And stuffing up all the spots where you see a draft come in. And not to digress but cover your head and your feet and you'll be warmer too. It doesn't hurt to have a tall mug of hot cocoa or finding a beach..
