You have to know your man..
A beautiful gift is a Pitum Haketoret on Klaf. It's a huge zchus to say every day, especially from Klaf. NO, I don't know the source but I'm sure you can look it up.
My DH loved it

Its super nice but if he is the father, it is also his duty to watch his kids Smile
It is his kids, too.

But bringing a gift is always nice, especially if you also bring gifts for the kids. Id buy something he cant get easily at your place like a special sefer or a nice shtender. Something he would love but that wont break your budget.

Every time my husband goes to Israel he brings me back a bag of those chewy gummy candies that they have in every shape and form. I love them!
Is there any nosh or Israeli "thing" that your husband loved in his yeshiva days? (Assuming he spent a year or so in EY)

Bamba. Very Happy

If you're feeling fancy, get him the ones with chocolate inside.

He is origanlly from Israel, so all those special food from there is not really a special thing by him.

Maybe something Purim related because it’s soon.
Are you bringing something back for the kids that behaved so nicely with daddy

It's okay to show appreciation to our spouses sometimes. Postive reinforcement is always a good thing. This should be part of every marriage.

Since he is from there something that will make him nostalgic of his childhood.

I can't relate. I love my role as mom and wife. Take no issue in all these "woman issues" like why do men say shelo asani isha etc but I'd never thank my dh for watching his kids. In fact he'd think I was nuts if I did. But that's why they make vanilla and chocolate!

I think of it more like an “I’ve missed you and was thinking of you over my trip” present. Whenever my husband goes away he buys me something small. And I really like it. A book, mug, etc. why not? I think it’s especially nice as he buys the kids presents too, and gives me mine first. It’s good chinuch in my opinion.
