Are we reading the same thread? Plenty of people eating pastries, cookies, coffee, sweet breakfasts, and all other kinds of junk on a daily basis.

Usually not- if I do I'm out of commission for the day. The sugar goes straight to my head.

Nah, but that doesn't count.
Whoever posted such foods had like one slice of cake and that was it.
Seems those who overeat like me don't have the time to think all we have eaten and type it out.

amother wrote: | Can you please post the recipe for lentil chickpea sloppy joes?
Thanks! |
Super easy. I put a can of lentils and a can of chickpeas in a pan. Dump in a can of manwich sauce. If that's not available we like this recipe for the sauce.
- 1/2 cup ketchup
-1/2 cup bbq sauce
- a squeeze of mustard
-2 Tbsp brown sugar
-1 tsp minced garlic (from jar)
-sprinkle of onion powder
Mix well and heat through.
I also Sautee some mushrooms and onions in a separate pan for those who want to add those to their sloppy joe.

Now I understand why I am not losing any weight despite "eating semi well." I eat probably twice the amount than most of these posters. Honestly I hardly eat meals but I snack the whole day...on chips, string cheese, crackers here and there. How do people eat half a blintze??? Some of these responses read like a diet plan. Yawn.

Because it was soggy lol. *school lunches*
Also I think that when you actually write it all out you realize its not all that much even though it feels that way. I think thats why some ladies started out saying they eat a lot and then it didn't look like a lot! Also, I'm watching what I eat recently and thinking before stuffing my face. I clearly see a difference in my energy level. I'm tired of feeling so tired!
Here's what I ate today:
Breakfast: yogurt and some granola (didn't get to make breakfast)
No cookies from snacktime!
Lunch: big salad, salmon (left from yesterday supper)
Snack: pretzels, hot cocoa (instant sugary one.....) chocolate, probably will snack on more things...
Supper: pizza omelette, vegetables(dont know yet which)
Apple, slice cheese

breakfast: kind bar, tea with honey, 2 apples
snack: string cheese, some carrots, another 2 apples
lunch: small salad,2 hard boiled eggs, some sweet potato, a slice of cheese
like two apples in between lunch and dinner
dinner: I'm planning on making this chickpea & squash curry dish (served on quinoa)
after dinner snack: I'm not sure yet
I'll prob eat another 5 apples before the day is over. I don't binge on cookies I binge on apples and it's just a different kind of bad I eat when I'm stressed or bored or over-tired and I've stopped drinking diet soda so apples have just kind of replaced everything (I'm turning this into a therapy session )
(btw I'm finding it interesting to see what others eat.)
