Is this just another version of chocolate syrup? Or is it worth to buy?

it's made for baking, way better in a cake than chocolate syrup.

For one packet stir 3 tablespoons of cocoa and 1 tablespoon of oil, or melted butter, margarine or shortening, whatever else you already used in the recipe for identical results.
It differs from chocolate syrup in that it is thicker and does not contain sugar. It's supposed to replace melted unsweetened chocolate.

So it’s not sweet at all?
Cz cocoa with oil would have a good consistency but not sweet.
I guess that makes sense
