So confusing how size 4 is in big boys sizes, while 5t is smaller in toddler sizes. Say childrens place.
So does your kid wear size 4 after 5T?

No. They are overlapping sizes.

So how does 4 compare to 4T? and how does 5T compare to 5?

Are you asking in general or specifically for Children's Place? Because Children's Place size 4 is much bigger than the 5T but I haven't found that to be the case in most other places..

I guess right now it came up with childrens place specifically.
I always thought that most places 4 is longer and narrower than 5T, dont know if thats the case everywhere.

I find the T sizes run smaller than the equivalent non-T sizes, but there is overlap. Usually the difference is in styles - they manufacture different styles for the toddler vs big-kid sizes. In Children's Place girl's shirts I have found that 4 runs about a full size bigger than 4T, and I haven't seen any 5T from them at all.
