I have a huge list of boys names that I like and aren't super common, but can't think of any nice girls ones - either they are used a lot or they're not so nice. We don't want made up names or yiddish names - something acceptable in yeshivish circles but still a bit unusual.
Boys' names that I like:
Zecharia
Micha
Azaria
Uziel
Yeshaya
Rachamim
Yedidya
Elisha
Eliyakim
Shamaya
Eliya

Try going through tanach and find less commonly used female names. Some exams off the top of my head: machla, chedva, milka, tirtza (bnos tzelafchad) chulda (one of the neviyos) yiska. I'm sure there are more

Thanks!
We love the name Ayala actually.
Yiska I think I like because it's Jessica in English...

Where do you live?
Ayala and Noa are very common in yeshivish circles in Israel.
My 6 yr old DD has 3 Ayala's and 2 Noa's in her charedi beis Yaakov class. Maybe in America they are more original.
Do you want only names from the tenach?
What do you mean by made-up? I mean Ayala is made up. It's an animal. It's just fairly well accepted as a name, so maybe it's not considered made-up.

Don't call your baby Chulda - there is a reason it's uncommon and never gained much popularity in the Jewish world even though it belonged to a neviah - it means a rat. Yeah, I know we have bees and bears among us - but honestly, wouldn't you rather be a bee or a bear than a rat?

Totally agree - only wicked parents would ever call their daughter Chulda these days.
Orli/Orly is a name used for nonreligious circles exclusively. Yeshivish cirles would probably frown on that name.

Yardena, Noa, Naavah, Naama, Emuna.... I have a Yardena which is uncommon but not too out there and we live in a yeshivish community. People love it and always comment on how pretty it is.
