I’m looking for hair covering ideas for the beach. I live in Florida so it’s hot and I need sun protection but I also actually like getting in the ocean and swimming. Just looking for ideas I haven’t tried yet. Also anyone snorkel/ scuba dive with hair covered?

I would go for a bathing cap for any serious underwater activities. In the beach, I wear one of those stretchy tube things (https://www.headcovers.com/bendi-bandeau-turban-scarf-bandana-cancer-patients/?gclid=CjwKCAiAqIHTBRAVEiwA6TgJwxjmDlnfN2lb-j86wtkqilhC2DcffSMvlH83ZzOutqI2mqgUxmdpExoCm4oQAvD_BwE) and pop a hat on top.

Bathing cap. I used them even when single so my hair wouldn’t get in the way.

Thanks for the ideas! I’ve never tried a swim cap. I’ve been experimenting with falls and hats but I can’t really swim in those.

To the beach any kerchief/banana works. Or whatever you wear in the house. For scuba diving you need something that you won't lose in the water. A bathing/swim cap is a great option.

I have a pre-tied tichel made from swimsuit material. I use it for swimming as I find it more comfortable than a swim cap (though they make them from different materials and some are definitely better than others).
