I got this sweater and I think it really needs a burgundy skirt. Would you wear it with a brown skirt? I didn't think so.
I found a couple of possibilities, but not in my size. One on Amazon in velvet...
(I need about a 2x & though I found a few skirts, nothing left in my size).

What's your budget? Would it be feasible for you to get material and have a seamstress sew a simple skirt.
Or, if you can sew a simple a-line skirt is pretty easy to make by yourself

I think brown would be more put together.
The stripe is brown.

Go with a cognac/luggage color skirt.

Thanks for all the ideas.
I don't usually do light colored skirts, they get dirty too fast.
The dark strip is definitely burgundy, maybe on some monitors it looks brown.
And thanks for the link to the skirt, I should have specified I only wear a-line or flared (or pleated).
I did order this though:from Jet.
It will need shortening (I'm looking for mid-calf) and I guess if it doesn't work I'll call some local stores...

Thank you, amother brown! This one looks perfect! (Assuming it's really burgundy and not as red as it looks in my monitor.)
[Now I'm sorry I ordered the one from Jet, which is a maxi & going to be harder to hem...I should have known someone would come along to solve my problem!]
