Thank you. Because I haven't opened this yet but every time I saw the thread title I thought, Is it ever not offensive to ask.
OP, now that I read your post, I get it. I think that if someone's a good friend, or has an interest like, I wanted to try false eyelashes, did you and did you have a good experience, it can be fine. Now that you did it don't overthink it. Presumably she's your friend since she invited you and wasn't at all or terribly offended. Just think about it before asking again.
