Does anyone know of a furniture gmach that will pick up a piece of furniture? I live in queens but I'm sure brooklyn places would come get too.

Sure
It's called a "high boy", like a half breakfront. Glass doors, 3 shelves, storage on bottom. A relative left it in my house and I have no use for it. If you are interested, u can have it.

Usually the furniture gemachs serve as the shadchn between the people donating and receiving . They don't actually hold the furniture.
