Help! My dd just hit 23 years old and needs her wisdom removed ASAP! (She was on our insurance plan until she turned 23.) Can anyone recommend a good oral surgeon who won't charge so much? Should I go upstate New York or should I stay in the local NYC area?

See if you can get the service covered by her medical insurance, since there is a medical need.

Try Dr Feder in bp
I had 2 wisdom teeth removed and no insurance, was able to work out a payment plan. Btw hes an amazing oral surgeon

For something like wisdom teeth removal, I would be scared to go to a clinic or teaching college. The potential consequences of a job gone wrong aren't worth the money I could save. I would try to find someone experienced and recommended who is willing to to work out a reasonable payment schedule.
