When someone is doing or saying something wrong
When someone smells bad
When people walk all over you and you want it to stop without being direct
When ppl dont listen to you and you want them to without making demands or being bossy
When someone makes you feel uncomfortable
When someone enters your private space or doesnt respect ur boundaries
When someone hurts ur feelings
When someone says something stupid

Other rxamples welcome too!!

Some of those examples require tactful responses, and some require assertive responses. Tactfulness is not always the best response.

Also, these examples are a little vague and different interpretations would call for different responses.
For ex: "When someone makes you feel uncomfortable"
"When someone enters your private space or doesnt respect ur boundaries"

Do you mean someone is socially a bit off and stands a little too close or that someone is harassing you and purposely not respecting your boundaries?
These would call for completely different responses.

In addition, you need to take into account who these people are- friends, random strangers, your superiors, your family...

Each situation would need to be evaluated on a case by case basis. There's no "one size fits all" tactful response that works for every single situation with every single person.
