Esti wolbe has a good one on kosher.com.
(She uses leftover challah dough. anyone know if I can use store bought pizza dough instead?)

I don't know if it's best but easiest for sure.
I came up with it literally before this shabbos.
I Took part of my regular challah dough, shaped into buns. I did 9 buns in a 6" square pan. Smeared very generously with a mixture of oil, cinnamon and sugar. Baked at 350. They came out super!
Challah dough: 5lbs flour, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, 1 cup sugar, salt, 3tbsp yeast, 5 cups water.
Eta: 5 lb batch of dough would yield 8 6" square pans 9 buns in each, or 72 buns in total.
