My theme this year is "rainbow" going in the direction of colors. I'm dealing with a fairly right-wing/yeshivish crowd. Can anyone suggest anything to do or say to not associate with the ahem "politcal" nature of the "Rainbow"--b/c that's definitely NOT my intention.

You can make a palette of colors.
Or each child can wear a different color from head to toe and give all different color foods.

there are packs of twizzlers that have one of each rainbow colors. I think when you live in a yeshivish community, people are less likely to connect rainbows with gay ppl. So don't worry about it just have fun and stay away from flags. Maybe look at a pic of the actual flag so if you buy accessories you can see if the colors are in the same order etc.
