I'm b"h due this summer and am looking for a girl's name with very Israeli/Zionistic connotations. I'd go with Tziona but that isn't going to be an option so I'm open to other suggestions. Was considering (thanks to a recent discussion here) Tiferet but would love other ideas, too. Thank you in advance!

I don't really know what a Zionist name is...just like a common name in Israel?

Tzipporah is very Israeli and Tzippi is a cute nickname
Penina
Sigal/Sigalit
Shiran
Ayelet
Tamar
Talia
Galit
Noi
Zohar

Am I getting close?

It's not clear if you mean a name that is currently popular in Israel or a name that has Zionistic/Land of Israel overtones?

Sorry if I was unclear. I don't mean a name necessarily popular in Israel (I live in Israel, I know very well what local names are). I mean names that have a similar meaning and significance to Tziona. Something to emphasize our belief of Israel as the Jewish homeland. The literal meaning of the name is important to us, and we'd like that meaning to indicate our love of Eretz Yisrael.

I'm the mother of a Tziona, so I get it.
Ariella, because Ariel is a name of Jerusalem. Similarly Moria.
Geula, though it's an old lady name.
I've also heard of Shevut and Pedut, neither of which I like.
Also Cheftzibah is a name for Jerusalem.

Someone else already suggested, but I really like - Bat Tzion.

Tzvia - as in Eretz Hatzvi.

Cheirut.

Shvut.

Any of the names of Benot Tzlofchad - who begged for a Nachala in Israel.

Nachala can probably be used as a name, if you're really funky.

Geula, if you're more old-fashioned.

Ayelet Hashachar:

Gottcha.

So, aside from Moriya and Bat Tzion I can think of:
Bat Ami
Tzofiya
Nili (נצח ישראל לא ישקר)
Yisraela
Shvut (or Shvutya)
Pdut (or Pdutya)
Nitzchiya
Tchiya
Geula
Arielle/Ariella

I gotta say, I'm so excited by how quick and helpful this conversation has been! I already talked to dh and we're both really into the idea of Bat Tzion. I don't know why I didn't even think of that! But all these other suggestions are really, really great food for thought, too. I'm glad to keep hearing more!

I love Bastsion.
Why: that gorgeous lullaby, even though it's quite sad.
It's a name with a mesora, used in some chassidish groups pre-war.
And the meaning is fantastic.
