Ummm...what? Bras I understand if he sees you undressed but periods? What on earth does a 7 year old boy need to know about periods for?

My stepson opted to share a room with his sister when they moved into my home after the wedding; they were 9 and 4. He finally wanted to move into his own room right before he was 11. We would have been fine keeping them together a bit longer if that's what he had wanted.

He came into the bathroom without thinking to knock as I was about to flush the toilet. He saw a lot of red in the water and was super concerned about me.
I sat him down and explained in medical terms what was happening. Then I praised Hashem for giving me a body that works like it's supposed to.
Then the conversation was over.
