She was showing me a picture of her granddaughter and I saw she took a picture of one of my kids that was wiping the floor after she mopped it to dry it, so she probably rough it's cute. Daughter is 2. She also took a picture of a professional family pic I have hanging on my wall. When I asked her why you have this picture , she said so she can save with my contact info. She's been with me a few years and very good cleaner. Hoe can I nicwly tell her to erase all my pics? She doesn't speak perfect English

Good idea. Now let's hope she listens. Any way I can make sure ? Maybe something even stronger ?

What is your issue of her having a picture of your kids?

I wouldn't be concerned. She may show it to her family for them to see who her boss is. I don't think she would do anything harmful with it.

With today's instant social media I shouldn't be concerned?

I had a new cleaning lady snap a photo of my husband when he came home from work. That day I heard clicks on her mobile a few times. I let her go. I don't post photos of my family on social media.

I would not keep such a cleaner and send her away and the next one you take say this is your rule

If she's been with you for several years, has been alone with your children, and hasn't sold them off to a cartel yet, I think you're safe. Is there an epidemic of cleaning ladies working in a child trafficing ring in your area?

Ask yourself:

What would she do with the pictures?
What is the worst thing that could happen?
What are the actual chances of that happening?

My cleaning lady takes pictures of my baby, I dont mind at all. Her family is in the Philippines and she misses them. She genuinely loves my kids as her "replacement family".

If she catches my baby doing something she will take a picture and even text it to me with "look how cute she is" etc.

as long as she doesn't share them on social media without your permission, I don't think its a problem.

Frankly, I think that is exactly what they do. I caught my cleaning lady taking pics of my gardens. She also took snaps of my house and my displayed pics.

They share that this is where they work and who they work for.
