im looking for a book on bob dylan to buy for my husband.
prob a life story sort of thing.
he is facinated by him.
he plays gituar as well so maybe a music book.
there is so many on amazon.com I dont know how to choose.
any one have one or can recomend something?

Dylan put out an autobiography last year-- Chronicles. Not entirely accurate, but fascinating nonetheless. My father is a Dylan fan and loved this book.

There are many many books about him, but the truth is, it depends on what you want.
If your husband likes his writing style, the get him Tarantula or chronicles, if he wants a book written ON Dylan then there is the old Antony Scaduto Biografy, but since he plays guitar I would get him some good book with words/chords of his songs...nothing speaks better about him than his own words...

last year there was a documentary on the public channel ... it was really kool and I'm not even a fan ... so ... wonder if it could be found ...

An AUTObiography is about one's self. No one else has a right to call into question the accuracy of one's own words about one's own self.

Maybe "Everybody's Gotta Get Stoned" Bob Dylan perhaps fried a few brain cells in his day on weed: you know, in the "accuracy" region of his brain...

...and, sincerely, I so completely respect that 
I don't know what it is about the mentality of the masses towards the famous, but its as if every single detail must be disclosed...that just isn't right.
